Due to growth, they are looking for three additional Leaders for the processing area of their operation in southern Iowa. DESIRED BACKGROUND: Supervisory experience in food processing or related continuous process, consumer packaged goods
Responsibilities:
Work to ensure your department produces the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost consistent with good manufacturing practices.
Provide a safe work environment for all personnel.
Recognize and take steps to resolve operating problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations.
Cooperate with all departments to assure a coordinated work relationship exists at all times.
Monitor ingredient usage and maintain other department costs.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent manner.
Encourage suggestions from employees which will improve production, quality, safety and/or control costs of production.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
College degree preferred.
Positive, upbeat leadership style.
Able to train and motivate department personnel in a non-union, team-based culture.
Be able to recognize problem situations and take appropriate steps to resolve.
Must be able to work overtime or weekends when needed. (with extra pay)
