Marketing Assistant Role:
Selects and gathers sources of information to determine market characteristics, measurements of market potentials, market-share analysis, and sales analysis
Conducts analysis of present and potential markets for new or existing products or services.
Assists in planning marketing strategies and objectives.
Monitors profitability and performance of existing products and services.
Maintains marketing database including catalogs, key codes, and customer/prospect files.
Produces regularly scheduled reports from marketing database.
Coordinates various marketing fulfillment duties and systems including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, and other sales literature.
Coordinates advertising schedules and placement.
Assists with direct mail, advertising, and catalog proofreading and related editorial projects.
Assists in planning and implementing public relations programs and trade shows.
Participates in new market research and design.
Conducts customer surveys to obtain marketing information about organization products and services
Marketing Assistant Background Profile:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills, including experience with all Microsoft Office applications
