Quality Assurance Lab Tech/Blown Film

Extrusion company located in Dupage County wants to hire an experienced Co-Extrusion Blown Film Lab Tech to work with the Quality Dept to assist in resolving finished product quality issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with customer requirements
Interpret lab test results to validate material specifications for shipping
Record, update lab logs and testing database
Organize, maintain lab testing and efficiency
Work with other departments on R&D projects
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
3-5 years of Quality Assurance Lab experience
Knowledge of AIB and/or SQF requirements
Ability to use precision manufacturing tools
Knowledge of ASTM test methods
Knowledge of flexible film testing methods and equipment for DART, TEAR, TENSILE, COF, WVTR and OTR
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good math and computer skills (Excel, Word, etc)
Ability to problem solve
Salary negotiable based on experience. Benefits package includes health/dental insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k, ST/LT disability and bonuses.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
