Responsible for maintaining policy, procedure and grocery standard practice, maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of standard practice. Accountable for protecting company asset through the proper and accurate receipt and return of DSD product within assigned store. Ensure correct count are recorded, which involve comparing, identifying/verifying information such as count, weight, or measure of actual product being received or returned against vendor delivery or return invoice, being sure to mark any difference. Demonstrate and execute proper vendor receiving policies established by the company. Follow company policy and standard practice when handling DSD delivery or pickup. Engage and interact with customer to create a positive shopping experience. Participate in the weekly store business meeting. Comply with scheduling and policy standard. Provide courteous service to vendor and customer.
Requirements
Maturity and willingness to work with vendor to resolve DSD receiving concern. Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds as needed. Ability to read, write and perform basic math. Ability to analyze situation, identify problem, implement solution and handle conflict. Effectively communicate with vendor, associate and customer. Ability to use the in-store computer, scan system and wireless hand held unit. Ability to meet production standard established by the company. Must be able to complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and training aid courses in a timely manner in order to become a well trained and certified DSD receiver.
