The quality assurance analyst will identify testing objectives, document test plans and create test cases from functional specification documents. He/she will execute test scripts manually and by utilizing automated testing tools. Identify, investigate, document and track outstanding software issues. The responsible individual for this position will also research software issues and assist the development staff in identifying the cause of the issue, recreating the problem scenarios, when necessary. Participate in the creation and maintenance of procedures and processes designed to provide quality software releases to clients. The incumbent will work on special projects, as assigned.
Requirements
2-3 years experience in a quality assurance environment or a related position. Experience utilizing an automated testing tool, such as Astra QuickTest would be a plus. Ideal candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be proficient user of Microsoft office 2000 applications. A background in mortgage lending or a financial services related industry would be very helpful, but is not required. The ideal candidate is asked to be an independent and motivated individual who requires little supervision.
Education
Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
