Position: .5 Payroll, .5 Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable - Full-time
Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required; college experience preferred. Experience with payroll, accounts payable, and financial reporting accounting software desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to be a team player required. Attention to detail and ability to use independent judgment and make decisions.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up to date payroll records following local, state, and federal guidelines.
2. Prepare Foothills payroll/leave reports to meet all local, federal, and state requirements.
3. Process monthly Foothills payroll runs following all guidelines and procedures.
4. Assist Foothills employees with questions/issues.
5. Foster effective working relationships between Foothills administration, staff, students, and the public.
6. Handle Foothills quotes and bids needed to follow purchasing guidelines.
7. Process Foothills purchase orders and maintain accurate paper trail on all transactions for auditing purposes and accurate/current account balances on each fund.
8. Issue payments to vendors and maintain file of paid invoices. Charge expenditures to proper accounting fund.
9. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports required to meet local, state, and federal requirements.
10. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/supervisors.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
