Full Stack Developer/Technical Consultant
Blackstone Technology Group is hiring a Full Stack Developer & Technical Consultant to join our Financial Services Practice.
You could work on an array of development projects ranging from Mobile Application development, Digital Banking, Responsive Web Sites, or Automated Testing. In this position, you will be personally involved with projects from design and development through product/solution launch. The candidate will join a high-performing group of technologists committed to driving customer value and satisfaction through delivery and innovation. This role is a critical component to our clients' success, and interacts with all levels of the project team including users, analysts, business owners, architects, and management. This hands-on position requires a desire to deliver complex technical solutions in an exciting fast-paced environment, while working alongside a team with a high level of camaraderie.
Required:
2-6 years in software development and engineering
Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework (Core, Web), Spring MVC
Demonstrable experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Backbone, Angular, React, Ember)
Experience with Web services (SOAP/REST), HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON
Preferred:
Experience with CSS frameworks or pre-processors (e.g. bootstrap, LESS or SASS)
Test tools and frameworks such as JUnit, mocha, Jasmine, SOAPUI
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Experience with Spring Integration and enterprise integration patterns
Unix/Linux systems: scripting and basic administration
Responsibilities:
Quickly analyze business and technical requirements as input for developing high quality technical solutions
Deliver technical components through the prototype, development, testing, and pilot phases
Collaborate effectively with customer and vendor technical teams
Support creation of technical deliverables consistent with client and Blackstone requirements
Stay current with associated technology advances in the marketplace and introduce new tools and technologies to the practice
Travel to customer and vendor sites (up to 30% of time), however majority of development work is expected to be performed onsite in Blackstone Technology Group offices.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
