Information System Analyst/IT Asset Manager

Job Description:
Assist the government in maintaining the inventory of a wide variety of software licenses and work with individual divisions and programs to reconcile licenses and installed products;
Assist the government in accepting requests for new licenses and associated fund transfers or citations, maintaining associated license inventory, financial records, and budget estimations specific to each division and program;
Work with the budget analyst(s) to ensure all financial and budgetary information is consolidated at the enterprise level;
Help answer product questions; provide use case scenarios, and act as a liaison to the vendor for in-depth product and license engineering questions;
Assist the government with ensuring compliance with the terms of the contracts, help determine the reasonableness of terms by conducting market research , provide advice in resolving disputes and other problems concerning obligations of either the Government or the reseller/vendor, and to advise on contract modifications;
Upon direction of the PM/CORs, enter data into the requisition system to be reviewed and approved by the PM/CORs and COs for requirements originating from government division and program management;
Conduct market research to recommend cost and profit negotiation objectives to the PM/CORs and COs;
Possess three (3) years' experience demonstrating the expertise and skills as described above and preferably one year supporting the federal government;
Assist the Government in maintaining the inventory of one or more of the product lines listed below:
Cisco products/Licensing:
Microsoft products/Licensing
VMware products/Licensing
Oracle products/Licensing
IBM products/Licensing
Work with individual divisions and programs to reconcile maintenance with related installed products; Use specialized knowledge of products listed below and conduct market research to recommend cost and profit negotiation objectives to the PM/COR and CO:
Cisco products/Licensing:
Microsoft products/Licensing
VMware products/Licensing
Oracle products/Licensing
IBM products/Licensing
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Possess three (3) to five (5) years' experience in the areas identified in the Job Description
Demonstrated knowledge and experience (preferably one year supporting the federal government), and/or relevant certifications with management of one or more of the following licenses and products:
Cisco products/Licensing:
Microsoft products/Licensing
VMware products/Licensing
Oracle products/Licensing
IBM products/Licensing
Previous FBI experience is a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
