Network Infrastructure Engineer/Architect
Razor Technology is an 11 year old System integration firm with vast experience in Data Center Technology. Razor has a need for an experienced network technician to join the team. This position entails the configuration and deployment of a vast array of networking technologies including, but not limited to, Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points, and Firewalls.
In addition to the above skillset, the ideal candidate will have a wide breadth of experience in integrating legacy environments with best and leading technologies.
Required Skills
Understanding of the OSI model and the function of each layer
Full working knowledge of layer 2 channeling techniques (e.g. LACP, Etherchannel, LAG, VSS, VPC)
In depth knowledge of interior routing protocols (e.g. RIP/OSPF/EIGRP)
Deep understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and functions (TCP/UDP/NAT/PAT/)
Well versed in Internet routing and connectivity
Familiar with Quality of Service provisioning and configuration
Configuration and deployment of wireless access points
Experience with diverse vendor environments
Knowledge of physical cabling types, pinouts, speeds and limitations
Participation with service and circuit provider transitions and migrations
Knowledge of network and server virtualization (VLANS, VSANS, Hypervisors)
Understanding of Linux/Unix configurations and networking
Experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop platforms
Hands-on experience with Firewalls
Understanding of data loss prevention technologies and techniques
Knowledge of Storage technologies
Enthusiastic to learn leading technologies
Willingly accepts delegated tasks
Ability to write clear technical documentation
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Ability to work and function in team environments and extrapolate data to drive a solution
Perform maintenance for existing network infrastructure
Provide internal company support

Firewall (Cisco ASA, Dell Sonicwall, and/or Checkpoint)
Wireless access point and LAN controller configuration (Meraki, Cisco, Aruba, or Ruckus)
