The ideal candidate for the insurance and financial position in this organization will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. He/she will establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. The responsible person will also provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification. He/she will work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals. The person for the insurance and financial position will use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. He/she will maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
Requirements
Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred. Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills-written, verbal and listening required. The ideal candidate should be people-oriented, self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive in problem solving, dedicated to customer service and able to learn computer functions. The candidate should have the ability to work in a team environment, ability to multi-task and the ability to make presentations to potential customers. Applicant must have a current Life & Health license. Courses on ethical and customer centered sales practices will be required.
Education
Bachelor degree required.
