Our client is a LED lighting OEM with a highly accomplished LED team, fast revenue growth, and a global foot print looking to revolutionize commercial LED Lumenaires. Company is seeking an experienced electrical/electronics industry project manager with PMP certification to assume the role of:
Project Manager - Bergen County, NJ
Support product development of lighting product lines for Commercial and Industrial portfolio. Plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned projects to ensure that goals and the overall objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. Develop project plans that outline milestones, deadlines and available resources for various phases of project. Work cross-functionally with supply chain, product Development, Asian contract manufacturer, and Sales to guide the product from inception through the day-to-day development process, from prototype, to demonstration and final product release.
Prepare project status reports for management and modify schedules or plans as required
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.
PMP Certification
At least two years of recent, hands-on experience in a project management function, cradle to grave, preferably in a lighting, electrical, consumer goods, or technology company. o Excellent written and cross-functional communication skills. Strong analysis and problem solving skills. o Prior experience managing multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines. o Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, or similar project management planning software. Advanced fluency in Excel
