Systems Analysis Senior Specialist

Gather business requirements, translate into system functional requirements and use cases, and define systems scope and objective. Translate system functional requirements into detailed systems specifications from which programs will be written. Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution. Ensure application specifications align with architectural direction. Provide systems expertise to stakeholders.
Reqs B.S. in Computer Science or a related field plus at least 5 years systems analysis experience (or M.S. and 2 years). Must have at least two years experience performing systems analysis in the Health Insurance domain, including Claim Payment Systems. Reqs demonstrated knowledge of SDLC, QA, Project Management, Relational Database concepts, Data Modeling, and Midrange or Mainframe Systems. Hiring Reqs: Drug screen / background check.
