The scope of Video Engineer position includes Network Strategy, Data and Voice Services, Network Operations and Business Services.
The Video Engineer translates business needs into technical solutions, which meet needs and demonstrates leadership in the adoption of advanced network solutions.
Act as a liaison between the Unified Communications team, Video Architecture team and other infrastructure groups and external vendors
Experience in generating and maintaining requirements, test and evaluate possible future technical architectures, analyze and resolve complex system issues, leading and/or participating in operational reviews and providing technical guidance based upon expertise.
Maintain extensive and detailed technical documentation
Act as a contributor andor leader of Subject Matter Expert Teams
Provide work estimates and budgets for IT initiatives that involve voice and/ or video environments
Lead various global initiatives as required through projects, day to day support or ad-hoc requests
Responsible for configuration, operation, and maintenance of Enterprise VTC equipment to include infrastructure, conference room, desktop, and mobile codecs.
Operating communications equipment for Polycom, legacy Tandberg & Cisco products.
Develop and communicate engineering standards and procedures as it relates to networking infrastructure to ensure that all standards and procedures are in accordance with Service Level Agreements
Identify opportunities available with evolving network technologies. Focus on evolving standards in the video communications industry and assess the financial and business impact
Provide guidance, support, and training to the other members of the Voice Services team and end-users as it relates to architecture standards and operations
Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support (troubleshooting)
Proactively identify needs for improvements, capacity changes and upgrades. Plan and implement upgrades and patches to stay on current versions
Create and maintain as built documentation, user guides and spec-books

Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher strongly preferred in computer science or engineering and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience in all aspects of Network Infrastructure, and exposure to other information technologies, especially audio/video.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
