What you will do:
As a Mechanical Product Design Engineer, you will take a lead role to deliver new product designs and enhancements of our styling tools that meet company objectives and requirements by ensuring all stage gate deliverables for the project are met. Key responsibilities include:
o Analysis of proposed product features to determine project feasibility and generate cost estimate for designs.
o Design and development of product through 3D solid models, layout, detailed drawings/schematics, building of prototypes, and experimental test programs.
o Review test data to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.,
o Evaluate competitor products as benchmarks and report findings to help establish scope of future products.
o Work with cross functional team to ensuring all stage gate deliverables of project are met.
What we are looking for:
o A minimum of three years of product design experience along with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field with working proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and Solidworks (CAD).
o A team player with the ability to collaborate with cross functional areas to build great product
o Someone to take the initiative to bring fresh concepts to new designs and existing products.
o An individual with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to a timeline.
o Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
