SharePoint Developer
Role Description:
This is a contract position with the high probability for long-term duration.
Immediate need for a Sharepoint Developer/Architect in Oxford, NC.
The SharePoint Developer/Architect will assist the team with converting existing Lotus Notes applications to a SharePoint 2013 based framework. The SharePoint Developer's tasks include, but not limited to, the following list:
o Create/test/apply masterpages and css treatments
o Create/test/deploy out-of-the-box SharePoint 2013 solutions
o Create/test/deploy custom SharePoint 2013 solutions
Requirements:
o Hands-on expertise with SharePoint 2013.
o 3-5 years experience using out-of-the-box SharePoint features to meet custom business requirements (i.e. Custom List, Document Libraries and Workflows)
o 3-5 years experience creating custom content types in SharePoint 2013 environments
o Familiar with out-of-the-box branding features in SharePoint 2013; General understanding of CSS, HTML, Master Pages
o 3-5 years experience developing SharePoint solutions in a hands-on role.
o 3-5 years experience of .Net development in C# and Asp.net.
o Must have extensive experience developing solutions SharePoint App Model
Experience developing the following components: Custom web parts using Visual Studio (not SharePoint Designer).- Custom workflows and forms using Nintex and/or Visual Studio
o Experience using major migration tools. Lotus Notes to SharePoint migration tools is a definite plus but is not required
o Experience with Lotus Notes is a definite plus but is not required
o Experience with source code management is required
o Experience creating and executing test scripts
o Experience creating solution packages.
o Excellent understanding of SharePoint 2013 features and functions and other complimentary Microsoft technologies that work with SharePoint.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Experience interfacing directly with clients (e.g. leading meetings, discussing solutions, etc.) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
