DUTIES: Provide operational support and EMC SAN recommendations to customers for implementations and management of EMC solutions. Work closely with the customer on EMC Best Practices, ensures EMC solutions work as intended in the customer's environment. Provide proactive recommendations to the customer for improving their use of EMC storage solutions to help maximize their satisfaction with EMC. Participate in design and operational execution of the customer's disaster recovery process. Perform infrastructure maintenance and necessary data migration. Provide assistance to EMC technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation. Participate in the continual review and improvement of existing operational policies and procedures in compliance with EMC's best practices. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin (any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 12 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) working on UNIX, Windows, SAN switches and Storage arrays, 2) working on storage migration projects migrating UNIX/Windows servers from End of service life storage arrays to new storage arrays, 3) working with UNIX/Windows admins in designing procedures to migrate storage on these servers, 4) TCP/IP, 5) Storage Protocols Fiber Channel, SCSI, ISCSI, NFS, CIFS, 6) Administration of SAN Switches (Cisco, Brocade and McData Switches) and 7) Storage Arrays (Symmetrix, CLARiiON, IBM SVC). Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
