SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $76,061
GENERAL
Summary:
Under general direction on assignment from the Associate Facility Director/Facility Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for the automation of various clinical and non-clinical processes utilizing a variety of technologies and techniques.
2. Will participate in and oversee all aspects of various software development projects utilizing various technologies such as C/C++, Win32, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, LDAP, AD, ADODB, WMI, HTML, and others.
3. Responsible for all aspects of all databases used throughout the facility. This includes the design and development of databases as well as the interfaces to them. Responsible for the regulation of all security aspects of the databases and the backup and recovery. Typical environments will include Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, various ODBC compliant software packages, and web applications.
4. Responsible for designing and improving the architecture of the facility IT infrastructure. Ensures any necessary maintenance of the infrastructure is completed.
5. Responsible for designing and improving all aspects of the facility's NAS and SAN storage infrastructure.
6. Oversees all facility servers to ensure operational integrity. This entails all aspects of hardware purchases and repairs to software installations and upgrades. Ensures proper patch and update management of all servers.
7. Responsible for all facility network devices; such as switches, routers, etc. Ensures the proper selection and utilization of network equipment, as well as, the proper configuration/programming of the devices.
8. Oversees all aspects of all facility telecommunication systems. This includes all design, maintenance, and usage considerations of the VoIP and analog failover systems.
9. Oversees all aspects of the facility surveillance system. This includes all hardware and software considerations and configurations as well as appropriate usage.
10. Responsible for the facility digital trunked radio system used throughout the institution. This includes any hardware or software issues involving the trunked repeaters and subscribers; such as any reprogramming/reconfiguration that is needed to replace faulty batteries.
11. Responsible for the design and maintenance of the facility IP based intercom system. This includes all aspects of hardware and software.
12. Manages all aspects of the computer/server imaging processes. This includes the imaging software utilized as well as the processes for saving and restoring them. Ensures imaging processes meet facility guidelines for readiness.
13. Designs and maintains facility backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure facility remains operational. Oversees all aspects from hardware to software.
14. Oversees all aspects of facility's dictation and transcription processes from hardware and software selection to processes utilized by clinicians and transcriptionists.
15. Responsible for the selection, purchase, and utilization of various hardware and software used throughout the institution; such as ID card printers and fax machines.
16. Responsible for all aspects of ongoing technical support of the facility Electronic Medical Record (EMR). This includes any hardware and software needs as well as overseeing end-user support.
17. Supervises all Information Technology (IT) personnel.
18. Determines technological direction of the institution based on needs and requirements.
19. Oversees all day-to-day operations of the entire IT department.
20. Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures as necessary.
21. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations: state and federal.
22. Ensures security and confidentiality of digital information and communications.
23. Ensures that end-user support is being provided timely and efficiently.
24. Oversees all user account management aspects.
25. Will be on-call.

SPECIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering /engineering mathematics and computer science.
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and servers, LAN/WLAN/VLAN/WAN technologies, VoIP, IP surveillance systems, IP intercom systems, NAS and SAN storage systems, virtualization technologies, database systems, web applications design and development, desktop applications design and development, digital trunked radio systems, imaging, development languages and techniques, and automation technologies and techniques.
EXPERIENCE
Prefer a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 2 years of supervising experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires lifting fifty pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to twenty-five pounds. Occasional minor discomforts from continual use of video display terminal. Routine exposure to light chemical substances.
Within the bounds of their respective job descriptions, all staff are expected to exercise principle-centered leadership, focused on customer service responsiveness, with a continuous quality improvement orientation. Additionally, all staff are expected to develop a working knowledge of and follow all policies and procedures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
