Responsibilities include:
o Participate in the performance of a variety of duties involved in collecting and entering data into an electronic computer according to programmed instructions; verify and distribute resultant printouts as required.
o Coordinate the collection of data from point of origin; participate in the preprocessing of data to locate missing information and to make corrections as necessary.
o Verify data entered into computer by checking printouts for errors and correcting as required; perform statistical checks to ascertain accuracy of data entered.
Qualifications include:
o High School Diploma or equivalento One (1) year of experience as a Data Entry Clerk preferred.
o Excellent typing skills; Ability to complete work with accuracyo Intermediate computer skillso Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
o Current physical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
o Current TB test or chest x-ray required if in patient contact or per contract/state requirements.
