You will be designing building automation systems (BAS) which controls HVAC systems to maximize occupant comfort and energy efficiency. The HVAC systems that controls will be applied to are very diverse including chillers, boilers, air handling units, heat recovery and terminal units.
You will be using a BACnet platform from Delta Controls products to create your designs. We will support you as you learn about our products through our extensive product training. Once you are a seasoned professional, you will be a technical resource for our Account Managers, Project Managers, and Field Technicians.

Responsibilities of an Application Engineer/programmer include:
Designing HVAC temperature control systems which include
interpreting engineering design documents to produce cost efficient and effective application of products in a CAD environment
Create systems database and programming that executes the sequence of operation
Create web graphics used for owner operator interface
Energy conservation analysis
Equipment knowledge of our Delta product line including BACnet protocols and associated controls devices
Industry knowledge
Technical resource for internal and external customers
Management of personal workload to meet deadlines
The optimum candidate will possess Some of the qualifications below:
AS/BS in ME/EE/CompSci/Programming.

years experience in building control systems
2
years HVAC experience
Programming in Basic, C++, Java, HTML5, web design applications
Working knowledge of DDC, electric and pneumatic control systems;
Analytical and organizational skills.
Willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
Possess professional credentials such as LEED GA/AP, CEM, PE, association with ASHRAEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
