The Storage and SAN Administrator manages the enterprise storage systems and Storage Area Network (SAN) that supports the various environments in the Data Centers. The position participates in the planning, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, management and support of the Client's enterprise storage, SAN, and enterprise backup systems. The Storage and SAN Administrator applies expert knowledge in the management and administration of the Enterprise Storage systems and the SAN in the Data Centers consistent with the departmental and divisional standards, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities:

oParticipate in the creation of an enterprise storage strategy consistent with the Client's information technology and security goals.
oInitiate and drive storage strategies, architecture discussions, and preventative maintenance plans
oInstall, configure, and zone Fiber Channel switches - Brocade DCX experience preferred.
oMonitor system performance and resource utilization, as well as responding to alerts.
oProvide technical analysis and/or assistance in troubleshooting issues and identifying causes.
oAs required, work with vendors and/or consulting parties to ensure optimal setup and configuration of storage environments and that appropriate support expectations are in place.
oCreate and maintain storage-related operational policies and procedures.
oComply with the approved standards, policies, and procedures within the culture of compliance that has been established.
Required Skills:

oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
oStrong analytical and problem solving skills.
oAbility to work in a team environment.
oStrong verbal and writing communication skills.
oExcellent customer focus and awareness of the customer in a service organization.
oAbility to multi-task, handling a number of complex jobs simultaneously through to successful conclusion.

Preferred Technical Skills:

oExperience administering enterprise storage systems - NetApp CDoT and IBM (FAStT, v7000) preferred.
oExperience implementing and managing NetApp software such as Snap Manager for Oracle, Snap Manager for SQL, Snap Mirror, and the Operations Manager utility.
oExperience managing a Storage Area Network (SAN) - IBM and Brocade preferred.
oExperience with Fiber Channel Switches. Brocade preferred, or similar.
oAble to assist in the design, installation and maintenance of a Storage Virtualization architecture, SAN as well as NAS.
oBackup Architecture Experience, at the Expert level. TSM preferred, or similar.
oUnderstanding of Database Architecture. Oracle, SQL Server preferred.
oUnderstanding of one or more of the following Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows.
oSolid programming skills, such as Perl, Shell Scripting, and/or C.
oPrior experience implementing and managing large enterprise storage systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
