Evaluate risk to determine individuals insurability adhering to medical & financial underwriting guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Underwrite life insurance applications making underwriting determinations of the terms, coverage and pricing by evaluating applicant data including medical reports, and risk analysis and modification
Audits and approves determinations for less complex cases to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and policies.
Communicate underwriting requirements to sales representatives and applicants.
Liaison with sales and marketing departments and coordinate accurate product information for company teams.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or similar.
Experience:
4
years of experience Underwriting Life Insurance
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, able to determine acceptance or rejection of customer applications based on statistical data.
Competitive salary up to $90,000 with end of year bonus. Company paid medical, dental and vision provided, as well as matched 401(k).
