The Aurora Police Department is looking for candidates with current or recent Police Officer experience for a projected February 2016 Police Academy.
To apply as a lateral you must have three (3) years previous related experience in good standing in a full service Law Enforcement Department within the last four (4) years from the date of application. Note: A full service Law Enforcement Department is defined as an agency that responds to calls for service, makes arrests, and files criminal cases without the services of another law enforcement agency.
