Platform Product Manager


The Platform Product Manager is responsible for the product life cycle. They must deal effectively with both technical staff and business professionals. The successful aspects of this role will be to effectively coordinate the design, development and roll out of the client's platform and integration with our technology partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
oCollaborates with the key team in the Crop Nutrient and Crop Protection business units along with our Owners to define and document the business and functional requirements.
oCoordinates the desired outcomes of the teams through development efforts of the internal and external technology teams.
oManages the planning process for development and roll out of the client's platform.
oBuilds, manages and monitors the development project plan.
oPerforms project management duties to deliver projects on time and on budget.
oManages project scope, acceptance, installation and deployment of the client's platform.
oCommunicates the project status regularly with internal and external resources.
oLeads development of use cases and performing unit and systems testing.
oEvaluates and prioritizes proposed process and system improvement projects for the client's platform.
oMaintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
oProvides training and support as needed for the environment.
oDocuments programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
oOther duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience -Bachelor's Degree; or, specialized education/training; or three years' experience in a business analyst position; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Technical Skills - Project management, technical writing skills and good communication skills are essential for this position.
Language Skills - This position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, documents, data, and technical procedures. The ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure instructions is also needed. The ability to clearly and effectively present information and business needs, and respond to questions from groups of managers, the IT team, coworkers, system users, and other applicable groups is also required.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out procedures and instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
Computer Skills - Knowledge and experience with Internet software, inventory software, ERP system software, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Project. Precision Ag software experience would be a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Current Driver's License, driving record must meet company/insurance guidelines.
Other Skills, Abilities and Qualifications - Must be able to perform limited travel to include overnight stay.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, at a desk; use hands or fingers to reach or handle, and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. On occasion, must be able to tolerate and endure long working hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
Work Environment:
Normal office environment with a noise level that is usually quiet to moderate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
