As a result of our continued growth, Geosam Capital US is now seeking a high-level land use, zoning, and real estate paralegal to join our team in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

DUTIES
Identify and secure property ownership information, including:
obtaining copies of existing easements, release/partial release of easements, subordinations, encroachment agreements, deeds
Secure necessary maps, plats, aerials and plan/profiles
Prepare easement lists for land acquisition projects
Conduct necessary research using state/county/city online resources
Support department and engineers throughout the life of the project
REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with public land records and ownership research
Working knowledge of legal land descriptions
Experience researching land ownership and other land use issues
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, along with excellent writing skills and ability to multi-task
Minimum 4 years title examination experience (preferred)
Associates degree (preferred)

Position is located in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Located just an hour east of Orlando, New Smyrna Beach has been voted Florida's Best Beach eight years in a row by the Orlando Sentinel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
