Collections Supervisor

Career Connections is looking for a Collections Supervisor for a financial institution in Logan, Ohio. The collections supervisor directs and coordinates all collection activities and supervises staff to minimize delinquency and losses. Daily duties will include managing:
resolution negotiations; repossessions; charged-off, bankruptcy and foreclosure accounts; the goals and collection activities of staff members; other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-direct opportunity hiring ASAP. The schedule will be Monday-Thursday 8:
00-5:
00 and Friday 8:
00-6:
00. Pay will be based on experience but in the range of $26-29K/year. Upon permanent hire, this company offers comprehensive benefits.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be skilled in collections functions and possess a minimum of 2 years' experience. Must possess a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong customer service and communication skills required, especially an ability to remain calm in stressful work situations. Must have computer proficiency, especially in Word and Excel programs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
