Machine Maintenance Technician
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, with the ability to read write and communicate in English to
comprehend and follow written procedures, container labels, and safety precautions. 2 - 3 years experience with injection mold machines preferred.

DESCRIPTION:
o Working knowledge of Injection Molding Machines.
o Mechanical aptitude along with knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics.
o Able to set up, start up, diagnose and troubleshoot the Injection Molding presses, all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment.
o Ensure all machines run at optimum cycle times, document cycles and changes that are made or anything that may be pertinent to aid in future set ups.
o Audit condition of equipment in area of responsibility and report any problems or safety concerns to Vuteq management. Ensure that backup tools or equipment is ready and repairs are made in a timely fashion. Additionally may be required to assist in the repair of equipment to the extent of his/her ability and training.
o Able to follow and understand Standardized Work Instructions (SWI's) and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure high performance of molds within Injection Molding machine.
o Understand and practice safe working procedures and 5S requirements.
o Participate in continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency and eliminate waste within the production environment.
o Maintain proficiency in all aspects of the area processes and procedures.
o Communicate any production delays or problems immediately to Vuteq management. Assist in problem solving and continuous improvements to production process.
o Must be available to work on weekends, off-duty hours and shut-downs as needed to prepare for production.
o Fulfill other duties as required ensuring that Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
