We need an Operating Room OR Technician for a Contract order in Clinton, MO.
OR Technicians/Certified Surgical Technicians/Technologists are allied health professionals, who are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings.
They work under medical supervision to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures and to ensure that the operating room or environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
Surgical and OR technicians are health professionals whose primary duty is to assist the attending surgeon during operations and procedures.
A surgical or OR tech must be able to work well under pressure, respond appropriately and quickly to emergency situations, and work with speed, accuracy and concentration.
