Senior Payroll Analyst

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate calculation of compensation for all SunEdison employees. Ensure timely payment of compensation, payroll taxes and work seamlessly with the HR department to provide the best in class service to all employees.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and execute all facets of the daily operations of the entire payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with the organization, state and federal laws, policies and regulations.
Share in the development, implementation and administration of department records systems.
Assist with the planning and implementation of programs to develop, adjust and/or enhance payroll systems and process procedures as required, due to changes in tax laws, regulations, pay policies and compensation initiatives.
Administer payroll tax function to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory reporting requirements. Monitor all payroll related tax notices, abatement of penalties and/or interest requests.
Assist with responses to various audits including Workers Compensation, external auditors, IRS, State and local jurisdictions.
Assist with the department workflow and preparation of all master payroll calendars and monthly processing schedules.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Support special projects, system and process testing and other areas of business as required.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize projects with minimal supervision including ability to make sound independent decisions.
Must comply with established deadlines and procedures.
Exercise good judgement in performing responsibilities and identifying potential issues to team management.
Ability to work with Excel, ADP eTIME, Powerpoint, Oracle Fusion, Ceridian, Cybershift, etc.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or equivalent training and experience
10
years' experience in a payroll/accounting environment
Experience with GL, RSU and stock option processing, garnishments, etc.
Superior analytical skills, planning/organization skills and high attention to detail required
Problem-solving abilities required
Excellent customer service skills required and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees required
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under stress
Self-starter
Excellent change management skills
Oracle Fusion, EBS, in-house payroll processing experience a plus
CPP designation preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
