Chemist (Pharmaceutical)
Please note that this is a 6 month contract assignment. Candidates cannot start an assignment until background check and drug test is completed
Eye Exam Required
Responsibilities:
Tests and interprets results for raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, finished pharmaceutical products, and stability samples. Interprets compendial and internal monographs, NDAs and Laboratory Quality Standards. Completes updates to Laboratory SOPs and completed second person review of laboratory data.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology, with 4 or more years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience. Basic knowledge of analytical instrumentation with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Strong working knowledge of raw materials, KF, Dissolution, HPLCs(Waters) is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
