Set up of all associated auxiliary and/or equipment for secondary operations. Perform cleaning of molds/tools, molding machines, auxiliary and/ or equipment for secondary operations to prevent contamination. Supply material to and from molding machines. Make minor repairs to tools, machines and equipment. Perform short and long terms preventive maintenance on injection molding tools, machines and auxiliary equipment. Record production data, and set up processes. Report any molding tool, machine or equipment problems to proper personnel. Assist with troubleshooting of injection molding machines, auxiliary and secondary operations equipment. Maintain documentation on the tools/molds as it relates to duties perform. Cover machine operators, assemblers, re-works or other as needed and directed. Responsible and accountable for achieving adequate production levels, maintaining the expected product quality, and keeping area clean and in order. Observe all safety and environmental procedures, good manufacturing practices, and maintain current knowledge of safety standards.
Requirements
Perform computer production transactions as required. Use record- keeping and verbal communication skills to maintain total compliance and quality standards on all equipment and systems. Towmotor and Lock Out, Tag Out experience. Ability to process and operate injection molding machines preferably Toshiba Electric Machines. Supervisory experience is a plus.
