Perioperative Manager

The Perioperative Manager is a registered professional nurse in a managerial position who has 24 hour supervisory responsibility for the Rideout Perioperative department.
The Rideout Perioperative Manager is in the areas of patient care activities, unit operation and staffing functions in accordance with the mission, philosophy, standards, policies and procedures of Fremont-Rideout Health Group.
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Director of Perioperative Services.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
RN's, OR Aides and or Nursing Assistants, Surgical Technologists, Anesthesia Aids and others as assigned.
EXEMPTION STATUS:
Exempt KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required.
Master's Degree, preferred.
May consider years of experience with a commitment to obtain degree.
SKILLS:
Demonstrate clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills and abilities to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, confront/resolve issues, motivate others, ability to plan, and organize and direct the activities of others.
Possesses current unit based competencies.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' Operating Room experience including previous supervisory experience.
LICENSE:
Valid and current California RN license is required.
CNOR certification preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
