Nurses in our fast-paced, 41-bed Medical/Surgical Department rely on a team approach to care for adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses related to gastrointestinal, urology, neurology, oncology, respiratory, cardiac, and orthopedic disease processes. Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills are needed to excel in this environment, where employees are continually challenged to learn and grow.
oResponsible for the delivery of safe, therapeutic and cost effective nursing care.
oUses the nursing skills of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for the following patient care populations:
geriatrics, adult, adolescent and pediatric.
oPrimary function is the delivery of competent, compassionate and cost effective nursing care.
oParticipates as a collaborative member of the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial healthcare team.
oDemonstrates effective use and support of the FHFM Superior Service Standards within the hospital and clinical setting.
oResponsible to adhere to the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
