Software Engineer, Web Development
MAJOR DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Create new services or functionalities as defined by project requirements
o Perform coding according to the particular programming language in use
o Create software project API interfaces and design specifications
o Participate in system design/deployment process
o Maintain the source code to resolve any reported issues in a timely manner
o Document the status of issues using specific bug tracking software
o Investigate new technologies and best practices
o Conduct prototyping activities
o Collaborate and communicate effectively as a team member
o Investigate causes of critical problems
o Share work related resources, knowledge and experience
o Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
o A relevant undergraduate degree (an advanced degree is highly desirable)
o At least 5 years of programming experience in Web applications in C# and ASP .NET
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o Ability to learn quickly
o Proficiency with MS Office applications
o Effective written and verbal communication skills
o Effective collaboration with engineers and other departments world-wide as necessary
o Web sites and services Backend (C#/.Net Framework platform, ASP.NET MVC, WebForm , WebApi, WCF, RESTful, Azure platform,XML, Log4Net)
o Web sites and services Frontend (JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery/UI, Angular, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5)
o Database (MS SQL Server, MySql, PostgreSQL, design, optimization, ADO.Net, Linq, EntityFramework)
o Development testing (NUnit, NSubstitute, JMeter, SoapUI, TSung)
o Environments (IIS, MS Visual Studio 2010-2013, TFS, Perforce)
Essential Physical Functions:
Occasional lifting of computer, monitor, or small printer not heavier than 40 pounds.
Essential Mental Functions:
Analytical skills, troubleshooting skills, verbal and written communications in English.
