Summary:
Interested in joining a small but fast-growing, innovative, environmentally friendly and vertically integrated manufacturer of seating for the contract furniture market? You would be joining a very close-knit team where you would be the lead application programmer for this fast-growing multi-plant business.
You will primarily be responsible for designing and developing rich user-focused applications that integrate with our ERP system and that extend the functionality of the system to make our Sales and Production departments more efficient and successful.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Design and Develop rich user-focused client server applications that integrate with our Visual Enterprise ERP system which will allow us to track every step in the Sales, Production, Purchasing, Shipping and Inventory processes.
Develop client/server and web based applications to allow our inventory, production and shipping personnel to unchain themselves from their desks and perform their functions directly in multiple 100,000 sq ft plus production facilities.
Work closely with the Director of Information Systems in the design, development, testing and implementation phases of the applications' development life cycle to make sure there is complete understanding and signoff of the application requirements and the proposed solution.
Setup a core development environment that allows for tracking of all source code changes with the ability to collaborate and do code reviews and testing before releasing code changes to the production environment. This also includes making decisions about the best programming tools to use in the various applications and systems in use at 9 To 5.
Work with sales and production personnel to understand how they perform the functions of their job and use this knowledge to create applications that make their business lives easier.

Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of programming experience designing and coding client server and/or web based applications
Prior experience with such languages as C/C++, C#, ASP, Visual Basic, .NET, MVC, WPF
Experience with TFS, HTML5, CSS3, JAVAScript, SQL script, SSRS a plus
Computer Science degree or equivalent
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to help design and document requirements for various projects
Experience in INFOR Visual Enterprise ERP system or in manufacturing systems in general a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
