Senior Software Engineer, .Net Development (Arlington, VA) (multiple positions). As member of Evolent Healths technology leadership team, play a crucial role responsible for architecting and developing technical processes around the .Net SOA and web development platform assets. Be a part of an application development IT shop through the requirement, design, development, and QA SDLC cycles; with a focus on C#, ASP.NET, web application development and SOA technologies. Responsible for building web application user interfaces and middleware service (SOA) layers. Lead aspects of web- and services-based solutions and internal applications to ensure consistency, quality, architectural integrity, scalability, and availability. Design and develop software solutions and software requirements-related core components, foundational frameworks, UI and SOA based services. Investigate and integrate advances in software engineering technology and practices into the overall development process to include: programming languages; relational database systems; application frameworks; software processes; software automation; and system optimization / scaling. Resolve questions of program intent, software requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls. Participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and product support using scrum and other agile methodologies. Maintain source-code repository, and participate in deployment of code into production. Participate in development process improvements of our continuous integrations services. Implement Web UI design and assists in the testing and user acceptance of Web pages and applications. Develop metrics for gauging success of enhancements using TFS and other issue tracking software in an Agile/Scrum SDLC environment. Produce and implement visual enhancements to existing designs as needed. Requires Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a .Net development-related position. Also requires experience must include two (2) years in each: 1) Languages: .Net, C#, JavaScript 2) SOA including: Web Services, WCF, and REST; 3)Web technologies: ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, JSON; 4) Database technologies: Relational databases, MS SQL Server, T-SQL stored procedures, SQL queries; 5) Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern including working with angular.js and knockout.js MVC framework on the client side.
