Validation Technician
CompleWare Corporation is a leader in the capture and management of case report form, patient reported outcome (diary) and physiological data using innovative electronic processes.
We are seeking a Validation Technician for our office in North Liberty, Iowa. The successful candidate will fill a critical role in supporting the Software Research and Development and Quality Teams with testing updates and additions to CompleWare software products and services. Responsibilities include assisting with the documentation, creation, and execution of testing. Anticipates and records misuses and verifies how software and/or hardware responds, records procedures to reproduce each error found and communicates test results.
Qualifications include a BA or BS degree in computer science or related field from a four year college or university, some related experience and/or training in hardware or software functionality and/or testing, preferably in a health care or service related environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The successful candidate will have a positive work history, strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent written and oral communication capabilities and strong attention to detail. Must be able to follow direction, assess Company needs, work independently and project a professional attitude and image appropriate for the work environment.
Completion of the Work Keys Skill Assessment through Kirkwood (319-398-7194) is recommended for all positions.
This position requires the willingness and ability to work extra hours as dictated by the demands of the position. Flexibility in starting and ending work times may be required during peak business periods throughout the year.
