Route Sales Associate

Farmer Brothers has an excellent opportunity for a Route Sales Associate to support the coffee and tea route based business. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up with the potential for career advancement. The Route Sales Associate will learn the organization's policies, products and/or services, as preparation for sales responsibilities. In this role, you will study sales techniques by reading manuals and working in the field with more experienced sales representatives. This role will also be responsible for providing first-class customer care service to all customers.
Responsibilities:
oMaintains inventory levels in the warehouse
oPicks and pulls product orders for customers, pays attention to detail
oProvides route relief as needed
oProvides excellent customer service, as well as resolves customer problems
oPerforms minor repair and/or maintenance of service equipment as needed
oResponsible for the collection of customer accounts receivable
oManages customer invoices, inventory and collections on a daily basis
oCustomer sales
oMay perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
oRoute delivery experience a plus
oProficient in assessing customer needs; customer service background preferred
oMechanical aptitude
oAbility to lift 75 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
oKnowledge of foodservice industry
oA clean and safe driving record
oHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required
The successful candidate will be required to complete a background check (including, but not limited to, employment verification, criminal history check and education verification), a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
