Personal Trainer
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older and have High School Diploma/GED
Possess Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification
Available for specific shifts & to substitute
YMCA Healthy Lifestyle Principles certification within 3 months of hire date
Display a genuine interest in fitness and an advanced knowledge in proper fitness form
Excellent interpersonal skills
Promote and exhibit a healthy attitude, lifestyle and appearance
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one Personal Training
Ability to market and promote the Y's Personal Training services
Be available for advice, spotting and other assistance to membership
Understand, follow and enforce all fitness center and staff policies
Maintain continuous surveillance during shift
Report any mechanical or breakdown problems immediately
