Summary:
Research, develop and manage the overall Hard Surfaces Business strategy for the Commercial business (Bolyu and Aqua brands).


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary:

Work with the VP's of Sales for Bolyu/Aqua brands to establish sales and profit goals for commercial hard surface products by division/territory.
Lead the efforts to develop products, pricing and technical needs.
Manage the vendor/sourcing relationships with partner suppliers.
Oversee product design requirements of the commercial hard surface business, including external product development collaborations
Work with the Marketing Departments to establish proper advertising, promoting and marketing collateral.
Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to execute proper trade show exposure of the Bolyu/Aqua Hard Surface products.
Provide sales training to Bolyu/Aqua sales force, including industry and competitive summaries/strategies that can support field sales and field management knowledge of the commercial hard surface industry.
Build a business plan for the Commercial Division's hard surfaces growth, including a three year sales/profit projections, SKU requirements, inventory levels and marketing support needed.
Develop product requirements (design/technical/cost) for the Hard Surface business.
Lead vendor/partner relationships with Hard Surface Manufacturers.
Perform high level meetings and presentations.
Seek out and pursue new business/client opportunities that will provide revenue and profit growth.
Develop, communicate and oversee a strategic direction aimed at growing sales and margins for commercial hard surface business.
Develop and advance supportive relationships with Key Accounts that involve commercial hard surface programs.
Construct annual plans with capacity to adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
Negotiate contracts and assist in RFI's and RFP's involving commercial hard surface products.
Assist and guide associates in adapting to changing market conditions and competitive challenges.
Communicate customer and associate's needs to internal departments involving commercial hard surface issues.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with sales and sales management teams.
Track and analyze data in order to provide information to assist in sales and margin growth.
Provide written and verbal feedback after field visits with sales associates.
All other tasks as assigned by management.

Supervision Received:
Minimal supervision required

Job Qualifications/
Experience:

College degree preferred or equivalent
Vast knowledge of the flooring industry.
Minimum 10 years sales experience in the Commercial flooring industry with specific expertise in hard surface sales, marketing and business strategies.
Strong leadership skills
Time management and organizational skills
Computer skills: word, excel, Power Point, Database management, social media
Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
Must be a motivated team player with a good work ethic & attendance record.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
