Independent Service Maintenance Technician/Plumber

We are a fast growing family oriented business seeking hard working, self-efficient, highly motivated, and skilled service technicians to support our team. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge and experience in commercial plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance to service the needs of our clients. The service technician will work independently, but still receive full guidance and support from our company to fulfill and resolve the needs of our clients.
We are hiring an Independent Service Maintenance Technician to work in Central Valley and surrounding cities, who is STRONG in plumbing and has construction/handy man experience.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Respond to daily, after-hours, and emergency service calls as assigned to by the service manager
- Perform troubleshooting procedures and repairs at site locations
- Perform repairs/replacement of commercial toilets/fixtures
- Perform drain/line cleanouts with hand augers/electrical snakes
- Research/order necessary replacement parts
- Emergency board-ups for window replacement and break-ins
- Minor electrical work
- Work independently
- Report back to the office with detailed assessments including photos and findings

Minimum Qualifications and desired skills:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- 5
years related
Experience: commercial plumbing and carpentry
- Current and clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle equipped with standard tools and materials
- Own and operate a smart phone and tablet
- Ability to communicate effectively, written, and verbal
- Contractor/Handyman/Plumbing license is a plus
- 1099 position
- Liability Insurance
