Responsibilities Include:
Mechanics:
Perform or assist in all phases of construction, start-up, operation and maintenance of equipment within gas compressor stations.
Preventative maintenance (oil, filter, belt changes, etc.
), troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling of gas compressors, engines and auxiliary equipment including valves, pumps, injectors, etc.
Maintain safe operation of equipment and safety of crew as a top priority.
Knowledge of and adherence to pertinent environmental policies.
Operators:
Operate gas compressor engines, auxiliary equipment, controls and associated facilities as required to support gas compressor stations.
Monitor pertinent site conditions using standard operating and PLC based systems, maintaining constant alertness for equipment failures and pressure changes.
Schedule Preventative Maintenance including lubrication, oil & filter changes, etc.
Perform or assist in operation and maintenance duties including patrolling for leaks, corrosion surveys, equipment inspection, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications include:
Mechanics:
5-10 years experience with large industrial-sized gas engines and compressors, preferably those running on natural gas.
Waukesha Engine, Caterpillar Engine, Ariel Compressor and GE Compressor certifications and experience highly preferred.
Prior experience as a Mechanic in a Natural Gas Compressor Station Mechanic is highly preferred, but other mechanics with large engine experience will be considered including Military mechanics with similar experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Must be computer literate with MS Office proficiency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have a good driving record.
Operators:
3
years experience as an Operator in Natural Gas Compressor Station or equivalent facility.
Must be computer literate with MS Office proficiency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation includes an attractive hourly rate commensurate with experience, overtime pay, medical & dental benefits, 401-K and a company vehicle for mechanics.
Relocation assistance is available for outstanding candidates.
