Systems Project Engineer

The primary scope of this position:
This position will work within the Automation Engineering Department RI.
This position will entail ( but is not limited to) keeping track of the progress of automation projects, communicating and reporting to customers and internally, keeping track of suppliers, and managing the execution of automation projects at the customer site.
Minimum Requirements:
Keep track of project progress, and manage to keep the project on time and on budget Report progress and any issues to customer and internal management Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to keep project on time and on budget.
Communicate with customer and various departments inside the company to allocate correct resources for the project execution Manage execution of project at I factory and customer site.
Achieve required deliverables and signoff from the customer Travel:
Up to 75% depending on project load Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering related field Detail oriented organization, good reporting skills (written / verbal), good documentation skills, good presentation skills Good human relations, verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual Japanese language skill is a plus Certified PMP( Project Management Professional) is a plus Work Environment:
Occasionally will spend time in various manufacturing environments.
Exposure to possible hazards including noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
General office environment in the Digital Technology Laboratory.
Physical Demands:
Frequent:
standing, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones.
Periodic:
walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
Occasional:
repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
