Job Description:
Acts as an expert in their field - subject matter expert.
Investigates analyses and documents all or part of a business (functions, processes, information, systems, engineering, technical tool/processes, hardware environments, performance and security) in a methodical approach.
Defines architecture requirements, creating viable specifications, for improving any aspect of the enterprise (business & technical architecture).
To manage architecture-related communication between IT Services and DP DHL architecture teams and bodies.
Responsible for managing the staff priorities, assignments, practices and objectives of the architecture (discipline) team.
Develops and updates the enterprise architecture (e.
g.
on behalf of the customer).
Defines architecture guidelines.
Reviews and provides consulting to projects on enterprise IT architecture topics, particularly around cross-application integration.
Communicates and educates about value and principles of architecture and its application The design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.
The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and those existing and planned solution components remain compatible.
o Working relationships with people responsible for architectural communication in all regions of IT Services o Working relationships with people responsible for architectural communication in DP DHL Business divisions o Communicate effectively all important news that should be made available to the architectural community o Seek contributions from regions and makes them available to the respective team members o Develop communication strategies with the aim to improve the effectiveness of communication to the architecture community at IT Services and Business IT o Analyze public events regarding IT architecture and bring them to the attention of the members of the team o Leads the definition, initiation and design of mostly complex architecture in projects/programs o Coordinates collaboration with external service providers in terms of assembling own or third-party system components o Applies standard methodologies when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones o Documents work using the required standards, methods and tools.
o May oversee the completion of projects and may contribute to employees' professional development o Acts as Technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards; steering the development process, reviews, and knowledge sharing, managing progress on tasks, and auditing results and outcomes Job Requirements:
Educated to Degree Level or equivalent in IT or Business Management Relevant professional qualifications would be desirable Strong understanding of the accepted methodologies (e.
g.
PRINCE2) Business Systems Analysis and/or Business, Data, Technical/Enterprise Architecture Business performance and analysis (problem solving skills) Experience in a relevant technical discipline Leadership experience (global business/technology modeling complex projects) Communication and presentation capability to clearly get across a message Experience in software engineering (With BS/BA) and methods including formal methods (e.
g.
Prince 2) Experience in software engineering (with MS/MA) and methods including formal methods (e.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
