Sr. Java/J2EE Software Analyst/Developer
Nallas Corporation in Newtown, PA is seeking Java/J2EE Software Analysts/Developers. Individuals will use standard occupational tools and will apply advanced knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Individuals will be responsible for the following:
- Work with project managers to design and develop Oracle ADF and J2EE components
- Develop Java components, libraries, API and patterns
- Develop services interfacing with integration and data services layers to extract business data and in turn provide this data for use by the presentation layer.
- Design and develop Oracle ADF and J2EE components of programs using software tools such as Oracle ADF, Oracle SQL, JSF, JHeadstart
- Design and develop web-based software using languages and tools such as JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, and Ajax.
- Create programs using development tools like Oracle JDeveloper or Eclipse 3x
- Participate in release/iteration planning
- Design, test, tune, and refine SQL queries for databases
The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or any related IT major that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus three years of related experience that provided the required skills and abilities. In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept related Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related, progressive, post-degree experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
Individual must have demonstrated proficiency and experience with: Oracle ADF, J2EE, Java, JSF, JHeadstart, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, Ajax, JDeveloper, HTML, Oracle SQL or MySQL, MS Visio and Eclipse
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

No Travel; no telecommuting; Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States which may require relocation at the end of the project.
