Summary: The role of the Project Manager (PM) is to maintain the TCPC Project Portfolio and to sequence projects and resources according to the Strategic Plan priorities and other influencing factors, such as budget and resource availability. The PM will provide status reporting to the ELT concerning the Project Portfolio, including active and future projects.The PM will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget This includes coordinating and acquiring resources and directing the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define project objectives, oversee quality control and provide status reporting throughout a project's life cycle. The PM is primarily assigned to IT, however they may also manage strategic business projects, depending on organizational needs. Some projects in the TCPC Project Portfolio might be managed or led by other resources, in these instances the PM will be responsible to provide project management guidance, training and coordination to the project lead.
