We are seeking a Journeyman Machine Repairman to join our team at our Streator, IL plant.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Inspects glass forming machines and miscellaneous factory operating machines and related parts and components.
Determines cause of breakdown or required repairs, reconditioning or replacements.
Lays out work, makes setups and operates shop equipment and machine tools to repair or make required parts.
Makes line repairs and adjustments to glass forming machines.
Position Requirements
Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language.
Must be able to pass mechanical skills test in order to be considered
Individuals must possess a current Journeyman Mechanic or Machinist card and or have 5 years of minimum industrial mechanical experience.
High School Graduate or GED.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
