Job SummaryPlan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team for best outcomes with patient care.
Supervise PTAs with treatment of patients and documentation for the best outcomes.
Supervise specialists, aides, students and volunteers in the clinic.
Keeps abreast of new lines of therapeutic interventions to enhance the department and patient care.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe.

Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License and meet auto insurability requirements as approved by Phoebe Putney Health System's insurance company.
Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelinesWorking Conditions General environment:
Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
May be exposed to limited hazardous substances or body fluids, or infectious organisms.
May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
