Our client, an established entertainment conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Billing Analyst to assist with overflow work on a contract-to-hire basis.
Main
Responsibilities:
Oversight and conduct billing and collections of accounts receivable portfolio for multiple networks
Perform billing analysis, review accounts and make recommendations for appropriate credit lines
Perform month end variance analysis on cash receipts to forecast and budget
Reconcile and maintain the Cash in Advance process; ensure pre-payments are received timely
Maintain proper documentation in accordance with Record Retention and SOX compliance
Prepare ad hoc reports for management team on a timely basis
Ensure proper cash applications, monitor accounts receivable and collection aging reports, forecasts, projection and various ad hoc reports as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum three plus years of Network Billing, Credit and Collections experience
Three plus years of corporate finance and/or accounting experience preferred
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business required
Entertainment, media, or advertising experience required
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
Previous experience with ERP systems required such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP R/3
Intermediate to advance Excel skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
