Our client manufactures a complete line of standard and special punches and dies, and also manufactures precision machined components, and screw machine products for the Aerospace, Automotive, Dental/Medical, Defense, Computer/Electronics, Petrochemical, Consumer Products, and other Commercial industries. Their facility has over fifty five thousand square feet of manufacturing area, devoted to state of the art equipment able to produce any per print item, from prototype to long-run.
Currently seeking a Citizen Swiss CNC Leadsman with a high level of Technical abilities to run either the 2nd or 3rd shift operations.
Responsibility:
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments accessories, and materials on machines such as mill lathes, jig borers, grinders and shapers.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth or angle of cut, and other factors which affect the machining process.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media is required.
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and threading operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
Keeps work area clean and uncluttered. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations, notifying safety representative or supervision of unsafe conditions.
Is knowledgeable of and follows Lockout/Tag out safety procedures, as well as all OSHA rules and regulations relating to the machine shop.
Required Skill
Must be able to go from Part Print to Production including program editing, troubleshooting the process, develop set up procedures, maintain all quality standards and training of operators.
Citizen / Star experience preferred.
CAD/CAM experience a must (open to Partmaker or Autocad).
In depth knowledge of materials and programing using G&M Code on CNC Machinery
Ability to perform complex setup with no supervision
Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts in reading and using the measurement gauges and blueprints to inspect for part conformity
