Financial Services Representative


POSITION SUMMARY
Promote cross-sell and service a full range of financial products and services with strong emphasis on meeting established goals. Responsible for new account sales, client retention and existing client cross-selling and relationship expansion based on priorities established by the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactively sell, promote and explain all products and services offered through the branch. Cross-sell related products and services with emphasis on establishing multiple account relationships with all clients.
2. Utilize client contacts to develop sales leads and to cross-sell a full range of financial products and services including referrals to other GatewayBank lines of business. Support branch prospecting, client retention and relationship expansion through regular contacts with existing and potential clients via inside sales, teleconsulting prospecting and appropriate off-site client contact.
3. Support branch client needs by conducting financial needs analysis profiles to determine appropriate client and prospect products and services.
4. Initiate external telephone calls to client base for financial needs assessments.
5. Conduct client prospecting through the use of GatewayBank lead generating systems as well as personal prospecting.
6. Initiate and accept loan applications for real estate, consumer and BankCard loan products.
7. Process and maintain client relationships.
8. Support customer service activities and daily operations within the branch.
9. Perform a variety of branch activities as assigned.
10. Fulfill responsibilities under the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations. This includes identifying customers properly, initiating CTRs and SARs investigations as needed, utilizing OFAC records and maintaining appropriate records.
11. Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Bank's BSA/AML/OFAC/CIP policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience, Competencies and Education
Minimum Requirements:
o High School diploma or equivalent required
o Previous five year's FSR experience required
Preferred Requirements:
? Basic computer skills.
? Has met sales goals in a retail or banking environment.
? Attention to detail.
? Ability to meet and greet the public in a professional manner.
? Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
